Appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in March 2018, Duane Ho has been pivotal in steering Oceanus Group through significant financial milestones. His leadership encompasses overseeing the group’s comprehensive financial strategies, including planning, analysis, budgeting, and securing growth funding.

Before Oceanus, Duane’s tenure as an auditor and restructuring management consultant equipped him with vast experience in managing financial restructurings and process improvement projects across Asia, contributing to his adeptness in navigating complex financial landscapes. His role involved leading C-level negotiations and providing corporate financing advice, underpinning his capability in driving strategic financial decisions within Oceanus.

Under Duane’s financial stewardship, Oceanus has seen a transformation in its financial function, notably through the implementation of new ERP systems. This initiative has significantly fostered the finance department to take on a more strategic and value-adding role within Oceanus’ overall growth plans. Duane’s belief that “culture is our compass” reflects his emphasis on the importance of a cohesive team in achieving financial and operational success.

Duane is certified as a Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and a Certified Practising Accountant in Australia.

He enjoys adventuring into unconventional cuisines as much as hitting the gym. True to his professional ethos, he continues striving to find the break-even point between the two.
